One of the most reputed names in the construction industry, Mr. Niranjan Hiranandani is a 57-year old billionaire in the real estate business. Currently, he holds the position of the Managing Director at Hiranandani Constructions.  The skyline of Powai has changed with relentless pursuit and business acumen of brothers team of Niranjan and Surendra.  Niranjan Hiranandani has completed his early education from the Campion School Mumbai, India. Later, he secured the Bachelors of Commerce Degree from the Sydenham College and stood second from the Mumbai University. Then, he pursued further studies and earned the FCA degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Business and career

Mr. Niranjan Hiranandani started his career by teaching Chartered Accountancy. Later on, he started his business in textiles with a weaving unit at Charkop in Kandivali.  Since then, the Hiranandani Group has come a long way. The group is well known for their modern and state-of-the-art property development projects in Thane and Powai. The Hiranandani Group was founded by two young entrepreneurs Niranjan Hiranandani and Surendra Hiranandani, the Managing Directors and Co-Founders of the Hiranandani Group of Companies.  Both of them together started their business in the year 1981 with low cost residential housing projects in Versova, Mumbai.  As the head of Hiranandani Constructions, Mr. Niranjan Hiranandani has made a name for himself by creating top-of-the-line housing projects. The projects include the Hiranandani Gardens in the suburb of Powai in Mumbai and the Hiranandani Estate at Thane at the outskirts of Mumbai City.  Hiranandani Group has developed 400 acre township and is a solid group having a networth of Rs 1,000 crore today with interests in retailing, entertainment, hospitality, IT, education and horticulture.

Personal life of Mr. Hiranandani 

Niranjan Hiranandani is the son of a Padmabhushan honored ENT specialist Dr. LH Hiranandani. He is married and has a daughter and a son.
